When I was twelve, I took a book off the shelf at home that was filled with portraits of Greek philosophers. I started drawing them on paper, and they turned out surprisingly well. My father proudly took them to his workplace to show that his son was captivated by classical things while his peers were fascinated by superheroes and dinosaurs.

We submitted the portraits to a competition in Budapest, which I won. The works were later displayed in solo exhibitions in Budapest and Rome. That was the peak of my career. However, I must admit that I had no idea who those people were, and I wasn’t really interested – but no one ever asked me.
