The goal of this series is to sketch my own aesthetics based on the content of Michel Houellebecq's novel "The Possibility of an Island" which ideologically fits into the transhumanist conception of the novel. The illustrations are not narrative, but in designing the most adequate technical solution they rely on a technical narrative that describes the ideology and message of the novel in the best possible way. The works are mostly abstract and non-figurative, they have an autonomous artistic value and with their metacontextuality they cross the border of narrative illustration, but they remain in the thought space of the novel and are therefore more philosophical than artistic. The end result draws an associative parallel with the primitive (especially Egyptian) culture that relied most on the concept of immortality. The illustrations are clay plates in which I press waste materials, screws, engine blocks and metal remains of today's world and in the form of prints I also recycle them because I turn them into art material. The prints on the clay plate appear in the negative and thus a relief character is obtained and by varying the multiplied relations, the prints create a rich optical game (rational game) and a clear Sci-Fi atmosphere is created as a whole that visually reflects the content of the book.
