This is a particularly challenging piece due to both the time frame and the structure. A bio-fertilizer company, WoMaa, has commissioned us to create a colossal sculpture for their grand opening, which will have a large audience. We have two weeks to sharpen our welding skills and build a strong armature to ensure stability and hold the tires together securely. Although the tires interlock and would be stable on their own, we want to make absolutely sure there’s no margin for error. With this approach, including the structural integrity and coated primer, we can offer them at least a 15-year guarantee.
